RAMOS CASTILLO ABOGADOS, S.C., has developed a specialized environmental practice in which the following services may be rendered before all levels of government (federal, state and municipal):

• Counseling on how to prevent environmental liability and how to deal with inspections, resolutions, fines, sanctions and closures as well as corrective measures ordered by environmental authorities.

• Counseling and representation against actions carried out by environmental authorities, as well as all sorts of environmental procedures before the Secretariat of Environment and Natural Resources (SEMARNAT), the National Water Commission, the Federal Tax and Administrative Justice Tribunal, the Federal Judicial Branch, state and municipal authorities and in arbitration procedures.

• Preparation and filing of administrative recourses and other forms of defense, including amparotrials, regarding the resolutions and acts of environmental authorities related to the imposition of fines, closures and measures implemented due to inadequate handling of dangerous materials or waste, water supplies and wastewater disposal, environmental emissions and environmental risk and impact, among others.

• Arrangement, presentation and obtainment of concessions, authorizations, licenses, registrations and permits related to environmental law.
